The Abigail Yohannes Library Project
Core Mission
To expand literacy and honor Abigail Yohannes’s memory by creating dedicated learning spaces in both the United States and Ethiopia.Two Main Goals U.S. Library Shelves: Partner with local public and school libraries across the U.S. to establish dedicated "Abigail Yohannes Memorial Shelves" curated with youth literature, cultural books, and educational resources. Building Libraries in Ethiopia: Construct, renovate, and stock community and school libraries in underserved Ethiopian communities to give children direct access to books, study spaces, and bilingual learning materials.
